WarnerMedia Honored with 38 Awards at the 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards
The Television Academy tonight announced its 72nd Primetime Emmy® Award winners. WarnerMedia received 38 wins with HBO winning 30 awards, more than any other network or streaming platform. This is the 20th consecutive year HBO has either won the most or tied for the most Emmy wins. Watchmen, from HBO in association with Warner Bros. Television, received 11 awards, the most of any program.
“The team at WarnerMedia is over the moon about what just happened at the Emmys. Recognition by peers is as good as it gets and we are forever thankful to see a storied focus on quality recognized in this manner. What a great moment for so many talented story tellers. We are raising a glass – socially distanced of course -- to all of tonight’s winners,” said Jason Kilar, WarnerMedia CEO.
