In honor of Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Month, under the theme of “Breaking the Silence: Solidarity, Community, Celebration” we’re honoring the history, arts, and culture of the AAPI community and beyond. Brands across WarnerMedia enterprises will launch a series of campaigns that highlight influential AAPI employees, executives, and talent featuring their contributions within the company and content; and spotlight ways that various groups can be empowered to give back.

In celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander History Month, HBO Max will launch its "See Us: AAPI And Our Global Community" spotlight page on Saturday, May 1, showcasing the range, diversity, and spirit of the community.
HBO Max will also launch eight days of digital community events to continue showcasing the range, diversity and spirit of the Asian American and Pacific Islander community during AAPI Heritage month and beyond. By amplifying diverse stories and partnering with internal and external talent, HBO Max celebrates the Asian and AAPI luminaries amongst us through photography, food, beauty, and original programming.

Join WarnerMedia in Supporting CAPE (Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment)
CAPE is a nonprofit organization that champions diversity by educating, connecting, and empowering Asian American and Pacific Islander artists and leaders in entertainment and media.

APA Visionaries Short Film Competition 2021 - HBO
HBO Asian Pacific American Visionaries is a short film competition that provides emerging directors of Asian and/or Pacific Islander descent the opportunity to showcase their work. Judged by a panel of WarnerMedia executives, industry leaders, and fellow APA filmmakers, the competition seeks to identify cinematic storytellers who offer unique perspectives of the Asian Pacific American experience and elevate their winning films on HBO and HBO Max.
