CNN Films Premieres 'JOHN LEWIS: GOOD TROUBLE' Sept. 27 at 9pm ET & PT

"JOHN LEWIS: GOOD TROUBLE," directed by acclaimed filmmaker Dawn Porter (TRAPPED, GIDEON’S ARMY), will premiere for television Sunday, Sept. 27 at 9:00pm Eastern and Pacific on CNN.  The documentary explores the extraordinary life of the legendary civil rights activist and legislator, the now-late Rep. John R. Lewis.  Porter and Laura Michalchyshyn of Trilogy Films, produced the documentary, alongside Erika Alexander and Ben Arnon of Color Farm Media.

The feature was executive produced and financed by CNN Films, AGC Studios, TIME Studios, and JustFilms/Ford Foundation.  Magnolia Pictures and Participant originally distributed the film domestically, including theaters and on-demand services.  "JOHN LEWIS: GOOD TROUBLE" was also an official selection of the 2020 Tribeca Film Festival.
